-added the "UPDATE LOG!," box as per special request by friend. if this shit doesn't work when i press save i will be devastated. i spent a long time in w3schools testing this shit
-added album reviews of The Specials, Kate Bush, and Celine Dion
-made a giant list in my phone's notes app of albums i should make reviews of but i got tired and didn't feel like adding more
-maybe i will take a break and resume to making the format for the books and movies section another day? lemme not burn myself out on web development on day 3 of this site existing
-i got reccomendations by the aforementioned friend on how to make criteria searches for items so when i eventually get around to making a recipe section i can add search categories like "Halal," "Vegetarian," "Spicy," and "Requires No Skills." either way in my recipes, as per inspiration by a cookbook from Zaynab Issa called "Third Culture Cooking," i will provide alternatives for ingredients 'cause i'm not evil. do not expect my food photography to be on par w/ zaynab
-i ate a chicken shawarma and corn for dinner
-added a tblog post pertaining to the aforementioned chicken shawarma and corn
-when i originally pressed save i accidentally wrote "food photography" as "foot photography." i fixed that.

-tried fixing the countless mistakes i made the day prior.
-added buttons to the home page, and i spent a slightly crazy amount of time trying to get the two bottom buttons to be centered. first they were left aligned, then they were right aligned, and after 30 minutes i finally got them centered
-added a new blog post called "Lived Culture as a Weapon" that i wrote on a whim a few days prior before making this site
-made my "About" page and got frustrated w/ myself because i couldn't figure out how to make photos not crop themselves on mobile devices in a manner which looks weird.
-ultimately decided to give up on fixing the about page, because nothing i do will truly please my standards.

-spent so long trying to make the formatting for this website and learning how html works that my eyes physically hurt and were bloodshot by time i went to bed.
-digitzed some old things i wrote and formatted it in html and uploaded them in the "Blog" section
-reviewed some albums for the "Music" section
-there's a page of (one of) my journals now filled to the utter brim with programming language and reminders to myself about how i made the page formatting for every html in this website.
-i was originally going to go w/ a different color scheme for this blog, but concluded that cream and a cool brown color were the least painful on my eyes when i have to stare at it for hours.
